Alfonsina y el mar
"Alfonsina y el mar" ("Alfonsina and the sea") is a zamba with music by the Argentine pianist Ariel Ramírez and words by the Argentine writer Félix Luna. It was first released in 1969 on the singer Mercedes Sosa's album Mujeres argentinas. The song is a tribute to the Argentine poet Alfonsina Storni, who took her own life in 1938, going into the sea from a jetty.
