Bad Buchau

Bad Buchau is a small spa town in Upper Swabia, Baden-Württemberg, on the Federsee. It grew beside an abbey of noble canonesses founded in the 8th century and was a free imperial city until 1803. The surrounding Federsee moor is known for its prehistoric pile-dwelling settlements, part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
