1997– · 20th century · Also known as MAS-IPSP

The Movement for Socialism (MAS) is a Bolivian left-wing party that grew out of the coca growers' unions of the Chapare and was led by Evo Morales. It won the presidency in 2005 and governed from 2006 to 2019 and again from 2020 to 2025, nationalising hydrocarbons and promoting indigenous rights under the plurinational constitution of 2009. It suffered a heavy defeat in the elections of 2025.
