Musavat
Musavat, meaning 'Equality', is an Azerbaijani political party founded in Baku in 1911, which led the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic of 1918–1920 under Mammad Amin Rasulzade. Banned after the Soviet takeover in 1920, it continued in exile and was revived in Azerbaijan in 1989–1992, as the country regained independence.
