Sebastián Piñera
Sebastián Piñera was a Chilean businessman and centre-right politician who served two terms as president, from 2010 to 2014 and from 2018 to 2022. His first term began with the 2010 earthquake and saw the rescue of 33 trapped miners; his second was shaken by the mass protests of 2019, which led to a constitutional referendum. He died in a helicopter crash in 2024.
