Suna II
Suna II was kabaka of Buganda from about 1832 to 1856. A powerful ruler, he led frequent military expeditions against neighbouring peoples and kept a tight hold on the chiefs. During his reign the first Arab and Swahili traders from the East African coast reached the court around 1844, bringing guns and cloth in exchange for ivory and slaves. He was succeeded by his son Mutesa I.
