Yarang
Yarang is a district of Pattani province in southern Thailand, known for an extensive archaeological site of an early town. Excavations by Thailand's Fine Arts Department have uncovered moats, brick religious monuments and Buddhist votive tablets dating from about the 6th to 11th centuries. Many scholars identify it with the centre of the early kingdom of Langkasuka.
