Yuksom
Yuksom is a village in western Sikkim, India, where in 1642 three Tibetan lamas consecrated Phuntsog Namgyal as the first Chogyal of Sikkim. It served as the kingdom's first capital until 1670, and the stone coronation throne of Norbugang survives there. Nearby stands Dubdi Monastery, founded in 1701 and among the oldest in Sikkim.
