Abu al-Fath Dawud
Abu al-Fath Dawud was the Ismaili ruler of Multan in the early 11th century, of the dynasty that had held the city since the late 10th century. Allied with the Fatimids, he was attacked by Mahmud of Ghazni in 1006, and Mahmud annexed Multan around 1010, persecuting its Ismailis and making the region a province of the Ghaznavid Empire.
