Barack Obama

Barack Obama is an American politician who was the 44th president of the United States from 2009 to 2017, the first African American to hold the office. His presidency saw the response to the 2008 financial crisis, the Affordable Care Act and a 'pivot' of US policy towards Asia. During a visit to Vietnam in May 2016 he announced the full lifting of the US arms embargo.
