Battle of Leuthen
The Battle of Leuthen was fought on 5 December 1757 west of Breslau in Silesia during the Seven Years' War. Frederick II used the oblique order of attack to rout an Austrian army about twice the size of his own under Prince Charles of Lorraine. Coming a month after Rossbach, the victory restored Prussian control of Silesia and is often counted Frederick's masterpiece.
