The Chennakeshava Temple at Somanathapura, near Mysore, is a Vaishnava temple built in the 13th century by Somanatha, a general of the Hoysala king Narasimha III. Raised on a star-shaped platform with three shrines, it is among the most complete examples of Hoysala architecture. It forms part of the Sacred Ensembles of the Hoysalas World Heritage Site.
