Dharmachakra

The Dharmachakra, or Wheel of the Law, is a Buddhist symbol representing the teaching of the Buddha, recalling his first sermon at Sarnath, known as setting the wheel of the Dharma in motion. It is usually shown as a spoked wheel, often with eight spokes for the Eightfold Path. In the Dvaravati culture of Thailand large stone wheels were set on pillars at temple sites.
