Goryeong
Goryeong is a county in North Gyeongsang Province, South Korea, west of Daegu. It was the centre of Daegaya, the leading Gaya state of the 5th and 6th centuries, until Silla annexed it in 562. The royal tombs on the Jisan-dong hills belong to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Gaya Tumuli, and the gayageum zither is associated with its court.
