Goseong County, South Gyeongsang

Goseong is a county on the south coast of South Gyeongsang Province, South Korea, facing a deeply indented bay. In the early centuries CE it was the centre of the Gaya polity of Sogaya ('Little Gaya'), whose burial mounds at Songhak-dong show contacts with Baekje, Silla and Japan. Today the county is known for the dinosaur footprints preserved along its coast.
