Gospel of John
The Gospel of John is the fourth of the canonical gospels of the New Testament, probably written around 90–110 CE. Its account of Jesus differs from the other three gospels, with long discourses and a high Christology that opens with the Word (Logos) made flesh. Early Christian tradition linked it to the apostle John and to Ephesus, where he was said to have lived in old age.
