King Xiang of Zhou
King Xiang of Zhou was king of the Eastern Zhou dynasty from 651 to 619 BCE. Early in his reign he honoured Duke Huan of Qi as hegemon at the covenant of Kuiqiu. Driven from his capital by his half-brother Prince Dai in 636 BCE, he was restored the following year by Duke Wen of Jin, showing the dependence of the Zhou kings on the great feudal states.
