Limbaži
Limbaži, German Lemsal, is a town in the Vidzeme region of northern Latvia, north-east of Riga. It grew up around a castle of the bishops, later archbishops, of Riga on lands once held by the Livonians, and became one of the oldest towns in the country and a member of the Hanseatic League. It is now the centre of Limbaži Municipality.
