Limbang

Limbang is a town and division in the Malaysian state of Sarawak on the island of Borneo, lying along the Limbang River between the two parts of Brunei. It belonged to the Sultanate of Brunei until 1890, when Charles Brooke, Rajah of Sarawak, annexed it, splitting Brunei's remaining territory in two. Brunei refused for many years to accept the loss, and the dispute was largely settled in 2009.
