Lubart
Lubart was a son of Grand Duke Gediminas of Lithuania who married into the princely house of Galicia-Volhynia and became ruler of Volhynia after 1340. For decades he fought Casimir III of Poland and Louis of Hungary over the former Galician-Volhynian lands, keeping most of Volhynia. He built the brick castle at Lutsk that bears his name and ruled with the support of Orthodox Ruthenian nobles.
