Lutsk
Lutsk is a city in north-western Ukraine on the Styr river, capital of Volyn Oblast. A town of medieval Volhynia, it became the main seat of the Lithuanian prince Lubart, whose brick castle still stands. In 1429 it hosted the Congress of Lutsk of European rulers. It later belonged to Poland and Russia before becoming part of Ukraine.
