Pharnavazid dynasty
The Pharnavazid dynasty was the first royal house of Iberia (Kartli) in eastern Georgia according to Georgian tradition, named after its founder Pharnavaz I, who is credited with uniting the kingdom around 300 BCE. Its kings ruled, with interruptions, into the early centuries CE, but the dynastic lists preserved in the medieval chronicle Kartlis Tskhovreba are partly legendary.
