Prabhakaravardhana
Prabhakaravardhana was a king of the Pushyabhuti dynasty of Thanesar in northern India in the late 6th century, and the father of Rajyavardhana and Harsha. The first of his line to take the imperial title maharajadhiraja, he fought the Hunas and neighbouring kingdoms and married his daughter Rajyashri to the Maukhari ruler of Kannauj. His death around 605 opened the crisis that brought Harsha to the throne.
