Huna people

Also known as Hunas, Huna

The Huna were Central Asian invaders, related to the Hephthalites, who pressed into north-western India from the mid-fifth century CE. Under leaders such as Toramana and Mihirakula they occupied large parts of north-western India. Their invasions strained Gupta finances and loyalties and were a major cause of the decline of the Gupta Empire.
