Toramana

Toramana was a ruler of the Hunas, or Alchon Huns, who invaded north-western India around the late fifth and early sixth centuries CE. By around 500 CE the Hunas under Toramana and then his successor Mihirakula occupied large parts of north-western India. These invasions contributed significantly to the decline of the Gupta Empire.
