Yasodharman

fl. c. 530 · 6th century · Also known as Yashodharman

Yasodharman was a ruler of Malwa in central India in the early 6th century, generally assigned to the Aulikara dynasty. His inscriptions at Mandsaur claim that he defeated the Alchon Hun king Mihirakula, around 528, and ruled lands from the Himalayas to the sea. His power appears to have been short-lived, and nothing is known of his successors.
