Stolac

Stolac is a small town in Herzegovina, in southern Bosnia and Herzegovina, on the Bregava river. Its surroundings are rich in archaeological remains, including the Illyrian hillfort of Daorson and the medieval necropolis of Radimlja, whose decorated tombstones (stećci) are part of a UNESCO World Heritage listing. The town's Ottoman mosques and bridges were badly damaged in the war of the 1990s and have since been restored.
