Sultan Shah ibn Ridwan

Sultan Shah ibn Ridwan was the last Seljuk ruler of Aleppo, a son of Ridwan. He succeeded his brother Alp Arslan al-Akhras in 1114 but was a puppet of the eunuch Lu'lu' and other officers. Threatened by the Franks, the notables of Aleppo turned to outside protectors, and the Artuqid Ilghazi took over the city in 1118.
