Temple of Diana (Mérida)
The Temple of Diana is a Roman temple at Mérida in Spain, ancient Emerita Augusta, capital of Lusitania. Built in the late 1st century BCE in the city's municipal forum, it was probably dedicated to the imperial cult, and its traditional name is a mistaken attribution. Its granite columns survived because a 16th-century palace was built inside it.
