Ulcinj
Ulcinj is a town on the southern Adriatic coast of Montenegro near the Albanian border, with an Albanian majority. An old port, held by Venice and from 1571 by the Ottomans, it was notorious as a base of corsairs. The great powers forced its transfer to Montenegro in 1880 after the Congress of Berlin, and its walled old town and long sandy beach now draw many visitors.
