Vache II of Albania
Vache II was a king of Caucasian Albania of the Arsacid line in the mid-fifth century. Forced by the Sasanian king Yazdegerd II to adopt Zoroastrianism, he returned to Christianity and rose against Persia around 459. After his defeat he abdicated, and the Albanian kingship lapsed for about a quarter of a century until its restoration under Vachagan III.
