Abd al-Haqq II
Abd al-Haqq II was the last Marinid sultan of Morocco, proclaimed as a baby in 1420 and kept under the control of Wattasid regents for most of his reign. In 1459 he tried to free himself by massacring the Wattasids, but his government grew unpopular, and he was killed in a revolt in Fez in 1465. The surviving Wattasids later founded their own sultanate.
