Aghaboe
Aghaboe is a village in County Laois, Ireland, and the site of a monastery founded by Saint Canice in the 6th century. It became the chief church of the kingdom of Osraige and the first seat of the diocese of Ossory, before the see moved to Kilkenny in the late 12th century. Ruins of a later Dominican friary survive there.
