Ajibogun

Ajibogun, also called Obokun, is the legendary founder of the Ijesha Kingdom, centred on Ilesa in south-western Nigeria. Ijesha tradition makes him a son of Oduduwa who fetched sea water to cure his father's blindness and was rewarded with a crown and the right to found a kingdom. His name survives in the title of the Owa Obokun, the ruler of Ijesha.
