Also known as ARSA

The Arakan Rohingya Salvation Army is a Rohingya insurgent group in Rakhine State, Myanmar. Its attacks on police posts in October 2016 and August 2017 were followed by military 'clearance operations' in which thousands of Rohingya were killed and more than 700,000 fled to Bangladesh. The Myanmar government designated it a terrorist organisation in 2017.
