Arco Etrusco
The Arco Etrusco is a monumental gate in the Etruscan walls of Perugia in central Italy, built in the 3rd century BCE. After Octavian took and burned the city in 40 BCE, it was restored and inscribed AUGUSTA PERUSIA, and a Renaissance loggia was later added on top. It is one of the best-preserved Etruscan city gates.
