Arcos de la Frontera
Arcos de la Frontera is a hilltop town in the province of Cádiz, Andalusia, Spain, set on a sandstone ridge above the Guadalete river. In the 11th century it was the seat of a small Berber taifa under the Banu Khizrun until the Abbadids of Seville annexed it. Castile conquered it in the mid 13th century, and it became a frontier town facing the Emirate of Granada.
