Granada
Granada is a city in southern Spain. It was part of the Almoravid and Almohad realms in al-Andalus and later the capital of the Nasrid kingdom, the last Muslim state in Iberia, famous for the Alhambra. Its surrender in 1492 completed the Christian reconquest and preceded the rise of the Spanish Empire.
