Seville
Seville is a city in Andalusia in southern Spain, on the Guadalquivir River. It served as a capital of the Almohad Caliphate in al-Andalus, where the Almohads built the great mosque whose minaret survives as the Giralda. It later became the monopoly port for Spanish trade with the Americas, as accounts of the Spanish Empire note.
