Balga Castle
Balga Castle is a ruined castle of the Teutonic Order on the shore of the Vistula Lagoon, in today's Kaliningrad Oblast of Russia. The Order captured the Prussian stronghold of Honeda there in 1239 and built a castle that served as an early base for the conquest of Warmia and Natangia. It later became the seat of a commandery of the Order and now survives only in ruins.
