Bunkeya
Bunkeya is a town in Haut-Katanga province of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. In the second half of the 19th century it was the capital of Msiri's Yeke kingdom, a great trading centre for copper, ivory and slaves. The Scottish missionary Frederick Arnot settled there in 1886, and Msiri was killed at Bunkeya by an officer of the Stairs Expedition in December 1891.
