Campo della Fiera
Campo della Fiera is an archaeological site at the foot of the cliff of Orvieto, in Umbria, central Italy. Excavations led by Simonetta Stopponi since 2000 have uncovered temples, a sacred way and votive offerings used from the 6th century BCE into Roman times. Many scholars identify it with the Fanum Voltumnae, the federal sanctuary where the Etruscan peoples met each year.
