Chao Mahaphrom Surathada
Chao Mahaphrom Surathada was the last ruling prince of Nan in northern Thailand, succeeding in 1918. By then Siam's provincial reforms had stripped the Nan princes of real authority. When he died in 1931 no successor was appointed, and Nan became an ordinary province of Thailand.
