Wat Phumin
Wat Phumin is a Buddhist temple in the city of Nan in northern Thailand, founded in 1596 and restored in the 19th century. Its cruciform hall, with four entrances guarded by great serpents, houses four Buddha images facing the cardinal directions. Its murals, attributed to the Tai Lue artist Nan Buaphan, show Buddhist tales alongside scenes of local life and are among the most celebrated in Thailand.
