Wat Si Chum

13th–14th century · 13th century

Wat Si Chum is a Buddhist temple just north of the old city of Sukhothai in Thailand. Its square mandapa encloses Phra Achana, a seated Buddha in the gesture of calling the earth to witness, about 15 metres wide at the knees and one of the largest Buddha images of the Sukhothai period. It is part of the Sukhothai Historical Park.
