Collegiate Church of Saint Waltrude

Also known as Sainte-Waudru Collegiate Church

The Collegiate Church of Saint Waltrude in Mons, Belgium, is a Brabantine Gothic church begun in 1450. It served the chapter of noble canonesses that grew out of the community founded by Saint Waltrude, patron of Mons, and that was among the greatest landowners in the County of Hainaut. Her relics are carried from it through the town each year in the Car d'Or procession.
