Delminium
Delminium was the chief stronghold of the Delmatae, near modern Tomislavgrad in western Bosnia and Herzegovina. The Roman commander Publius Cornelius Scipio Nasica destroyed it in 155 BCE, ending a war against the Delmatae. A Roman town later grew up on the site, and the surrounding Duvno plain kept a form of its name.
