Dewa Agung Jambe II
Dewa Agung Jambe II was the last king of Klungkung, the senior royal house of Bali, from 1903. When the Dutch attacked in April 1908 he led his family and followers out of the palace in a puputan, a ritual suicidal march into rifle fire, in which he and around two hundred people were killed. Klungkung was then annexed to the Dutch East Indies.
