Dhaid

Also known as Al Dhaid

Dhaid is an oasis town in the interior of the emirate of Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, about 50 kilometres east of Sharjah city. Watered by underground channels, it was long known for its date palms and farms, and served as a meeting place for Bedouin tribes. It remains the main agricultural centre of the emirate.
