Dynamis (Bosporan queen)

d. c. 8 CE · 1st century BCE

Dynamis was queen of the Bosporan Kingdom in the late first century BCE, a daughter of Pharnaces II and granddaughter of Mithridates VI of Pontus. She married Asander and, after his death around 17 BCE, briefly the usurper Scribonius and then Polemon I of Pontus, whom Rome supported. She later ruled in her own right with Roman approval and died around 8 CE.
